Excellent stallions combined with a strong mare line – that, in a nutshell, is Wirmette’s pedigree. She herself is by Zirocco Blue, the outstanding VDL stallion who has made his mark on show jumping breeding both as a competitor and as a sire. Her dam, Irmette E, is by a typical Roelofs stallion, namely Namelus – the son of Concorde out of a Joost mare. Her second dam, Rimette, is pref and prest, by the highly capable Burggraaf. She is the dam of Wimette (1.60m), Zamette and Frimette (1.50m). The third dam, Irmette, who holds four predicate titles, is classified at 1.30m and is by the highly influential Nimmerdor. She is the dam of the Grand Prix show jumpers Sjarmette and Nirmette, and the 1.40m horse Esprit de Diamant.
