Sire Excelsior Optimus is exceptionally well bred as a son of the top showjumpers Ermitage Kalone and Cacacha van het Schaeck, and is already making a name for himself in young horse classes. His first offspring are confirming his outstanding potential as a breeding stallion. Evert van B Z also inherits excellent jumping genetics through his damline. Granddam Domino van het Gehucht competed at 1.40m level and was performing in international classes at 1.35m level. The family continues through a half-sister to the Grand Prix stallion AD Babouche, ridden by Athina Onassis, and the 1.40/1.45m performers Babiche vh Gehucht Z and Nanouche vh Gehucht Z. This direct damline has also produced 1.45m horses such as Karma Blue and Gernice vd Postbaan.
