The month of December saw a rise in both sold lots as well as the prices for which they where sold in comparison with the previous month. Two smaller auctions in particular impressed with high selling prices.
The Ballypatrick Auction in Ireland being the auction with the top individual lot price. Artic Blue, a 7yo gelding by A Pikachu de Muze x Chacco Blue was sold for the highest price of over 1 million; 1.190.000 euro to be exact. Interestingly enough the highest total average price was for a different auction. The Brilliance Collection in the UK only sold 12 lots all together which totalled an average price per lot of 197.476 euro!
Popular Stallions
In terms of popular stallions, we see the no. 1 stallion of November – Chacco Blue – move out of the top 4 and replaced by two sires; Cornet Obolensky and Diamant de Semilly share the 1st place in December.
