Genetically, Prescott VDL leaves little to be desired, and he is ready to live up to those high expectations as a showjumper. His sire Tobago Z is one of the most successful sporthorses of his generation under Daniel Deusser, and has made a promising start in breeding, with his oldest offspring breaking through at 1.50m level. Dam Isapardi VDL performed with Lennard de Boer at international 1.45m level and is a full sister to both the Olympic stallion Apardi, ridden by Daniel Bluman, and Bacardi VDL, who participated in the World Equestrian Games with Janika Sprunger. In addition, granddam Supardi produced seven internationally performing offspring, including the 1.55m ranked Dapardie (s.Zèlote VDL) ridden by Steffen Engfer.
