Kashira

Kashmir van SchuttershofCalando I

Long-lined mare with lightness, technique and future potential
Kashira is a long-lined mare that radiates quality and will only turn two years old. She is very light-footed, shows a big canter and is currently still slightly overbuilt. We expect her to continue growing and developing. Over the jump she already shows very good technique, with an especially strong and noticeable hind-end technique. She comes straight from the herd and is therefore still very green, just halter-broken. In our opinion, a true talent for the future and a horse to fall in love with, backed by an exceptional pedigree.

Sire
Kashmir van Schuttershof (Nabab de Rêve x Tenor Manciais) competed internationally at 1.60m Grand Prix level and is a BWP Ambassador. He is one of the most influential sires in modern showjumping, renowned for passing on scope, attitude and jumping technique. His offspring include numerous top-level international performers such as H&M All In, Gazelle and Orlando de la Provillo (1.65–1.70m).

Damline
The dam is T. Amelusina II (Calando I), descending from the world-famous Amelusina damline. Calando I himself competed internationally at 1.60m level and is known for transmitting scope and quality.

This direct damline and family has produced an exceptional number of international sport horses and approved stallions, including:
– Eamelusina R57 (Calvaro Z), international 1.60m
– Special Marathon Curiano van Maarle Z (Canabis Z), international 1.60m
– Kuechenboy (Lord Z), international 1.55m
– Daydream (Colman), international 1.50m
– Den Ham Blue R (Mr. Blue), approved KWPN stallion, 1.45m
– Joey (Dexter R), international 1.45m
– B Amelusina (Sam R), international 1.45m
– Gossip S.A. (Vingino), international 1.45m
– Jillz S.A. (Bugatti VDL), 1.35m, CSI winner

Further back, this damline shows an extraordinary concentration of 1.45–1.60m performers, approved stallions and international CSI sport over many generations. A family that has consistently produced top-level showjumpers for decades.

As we regularly receive questions from interested parties regarding her size, we would like to clarify the following:

Measured on 6 January 2026, this mare stands 1.55 m.
Based on her age and current development, the expected mature height is estimated at approximately 1.64 – 1.67 m.
