A truly spectacular jumper with exceptional power
You do not see horses like this very often. Diaran immediately stands out for his exceptional power and athletic ability. He shows a strong engine from behind, a good canter and a correct, spacious trot. Over the jump he displays outstanding talent, with excellent technique, plenty of scope and very quick reflexes. A horse that impresses every time he jumps and never fails to excite. We are extremely enthusiastic about his quality and presence. A truly special showjumping prospect.
Sire
Diarado (Diamant de Semilly x Corrado I) is an Oldenburg elite and Sieger stallion who competed himself at 1.50m level. He is licensed with Holstein, BWP, Oldenburg, SF and Hanoverian. Diarado is one of the leading sires of his generation and has produced numerous international Grand Prix horses, including Don Diarado, Donatello 141 and Karoline of Ballmore, all competing at 1.60–1.70m level. Through Diamant de Semilly and Corrado I, this line represents absolute world-class jumping genetics.
Damline
The dam is Mary-Lou (Karajan), descending from a strong Holsteiner performance family. Karajan (Kannan GFE) competed internationally at 1.65m level and is known for passing on scope, canter and attitude.
The second dam Fascination I (Cascadello I) comes from the influential Cascadello line, himself an international 1.50m performer, renowned for technique and lightness.
The third dam Zara XXVI (Canturo) produced several sport horses and confirms the consistent performance of this family.
Further back in the damline we find Nova II (Acrobat II), with among others:
– Quarius (Quebec), international 1.60m
– Quite Capitano (Quite Capitol), approved stallion, 1.40m
– Quick Time (Quick Nick I), international 1.35m
A damline with proven international performance up to 1.60m level and several approved stallions.
For horses younger than 24 months, it is not mandatory with us to take X-rays. At this age, horses are still in full development and their joints are not yet fully matured. If any abnormalities are suspected during the clinical examination, this will be noted in the clinical report and/or additional X-rays will be taken for further investigation.
