The four-year-old bay mare Chindra stands 166 and is not yet backed. She has plenty of go, pushes off well at the fence and gives her best in everything she does. Walk, trot and canter all come easily to her: a mare with a natural engine.
She was picked out as a favourite on our video day. A mare for someone who wants to school her themselves, suitable for the advanced amateur through to the professional.
Sire
Chinchero is a Prämienhengst out of Chopin VA (1.60m).
Dam
Dana I, a daughter of Quirado, produced Helsinki 8 (1.45m) and Ua Pou Island (1.40m).
Granddam
Nele IX, by Carpaccio, produced:
• Campbell VDL – 1.60m, approved with the KWPN and Zangersheide
• Concord 60 – 1.55m
• Convent – 1.50m
• Cormick 5 – 1.50m
• Cayano 5 – 1.40m
Damline
Third dam Ebony produced Unique (1.50m) and Linnert (1.45m).
Chindra combines her push and her engine with a Holsteiner family that produced five international jumpers out of the same mare.
