They’re hard to find: Jumping horses with this much quality and blood. The two-year-old mare Ciceflo Z is a smart investment for the future.
Sire Cicero Z van Paemel, a son of the legendary Carthago, jumped at 1.60m GP level and has 45 offspring competing at that height. Two are even jumping at 1.70m GP level: Icos and Eristov.
Dam Flo competed at international 1.45m with Leslie Burr-Howard (USA) before returning to the Netherlands. Her sire, VDL Groep Zagreb (registered as Querly-Elvis), competed at 1.60m level with Leopold van Asten.
Granddam Escort Lady van het Molenhof carries valuable genes from Darco and Papillon Rouge. She is a half-sister to 1.60m GP horse Hello Guv’nor (Diamant de Semilly), successful with Scott Brash, Laura Kraut and Justine Tebbel, and also closely related to Carat de Sainval (1.50m GP).
For horses younger than 24 months, it is not mandatory with us to take X-rays. At this age, horses are still in full development and their joints are not yet fully matured. If any abnormalities are suspected during the clinical examination, this will be noted in the clinical report and/or additional X-rays will be taken for further investigation.
