He is light-footed and already shows scope. There is certainly potential in this two-year-old Tarragon. As he is still growing, he lacks some strength, but the experienced eye will see past that. His half-brother Prodigy jumped at international 1.45m level as a nine-year-old with Donald Whitaker, and later 1.40m level in the USA with Paris Levy.
Darco son O’Bailey vh Brouwershof N.O.P. won the Dutch Championship with Maikel van der Vleuten and jumps at the biggest shows in the world. The stallion comes out of the family of Opaline des Pins, dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion Atlanta), Shogoun II, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d’Opaline.
Tarragon’s dam is a Holsteiner mare sired by top sire Cassini I. The granddam Graefin VII (Langata Express xx x Rebel I Z) gave two 1.30/1.35m showjumping horses and the 1.50m classified Acobana with Aurora Bortolazzi (ITA), and she is the granddam of Cassou 3 (1.50m level).
