Wow, this is one of the highlights of this auction. A stunning, complete horse. Beautifully built and jumps very well. Santana is a three-year-old stallion from the damline of Glock’s Zaranza (1.60m GP).

Sire Orak d’Hamwyck (1.55m Grand Prix with Frederic Vernaet) is an 11-year-old son of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Scuderia 1918 Tobago Z x Toulon. The black AES-approved stallion was already distinguished at a young age for his looks, flashy jumping style and carefulness.

Dam Jillz is my Name (Zavall VDL) also gave the seven-year-old, 1.30m level showjumping horse Nozem. Granddam What’s A Name (Phin Phin) produced the international showjumping horses How’s My Name (1.55m GP with Laura Mantel, GBR) and Guess What’s My Name (1.40m level with Vincent Geerink, NED).

The damline traces back to the famous broodmare Santa Caterina (Heartbreaker x Cassini I). She gave Glock’s Zaranza (1.60m GP with Gerco Schröder) and the four-year-old, Zangersheide-approved stallion Remondo vd Radstake. KWPN stallion El Salvador (1.45m), Impala (1.60m GP), Icaterina (1.60m GP), Girocco (1.50m) and Hocus Pocus (1.50m) are all closely related.
