The three-year-old Hong Kong is a large-framed, light-footed jumping horse who is still very green in everything. Who will take on the journey of producing him?
The sire is the 8-year-old AES stallion His Pleasure Duborget, half-brother of three 1.50m and five 1.40-1.45m showjumping horses and bred out of the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallions Rahotep de Toscane and Jadis de Toscane.
Dam Que Belle Van Het Brouwershof (Cornet Obolensky x Contact van de Heffinck) is the half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion O’Bailey van het Brouwershof, successfully ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten. Granddam Hermeline van de Caatshoeve is a half-sister to L’Espoir d’Opaline (1.55m GP) and three 1.40m–1.45m jumpers.
They all descend from the famous Opaline des Pins line. She is the dam of 1.60m Grand Prix horses Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion in Atlanta), Shogoun II, Quintus, Richebourg and Trésor d’Opaline.
