Vanthago is a large, long-lined sport horse with a lot of scope, balance and a very kind character. He is very easy to ride and gives the rider an immediate feeling of confidence.
He has a good canter with plenty of balance, both on the flat and over the jump. For a big horse, he is surprisingly light-footed and quick off the ground.
Over the jump he shows scope and good technique. He takes everything on very well and shows a willing attitude. Although still green for his age and with experience at 1.10m level, he clearly shows the qualities for higher levels.
This is a typical horse that, with the right training, can develop into a horse for bigger courses. A very nice amateur horse with a lot of potential for the future.
Sire Qanthago van ’t Huka competes at 1.40m level and is a son of Kannan (1.60m), one of the most influential sires for scope and attitude.
Dam Rappe Lola van ’t Huka is a daughter of H&M Chilli Willi (1.60m) and comes from a very strong international performance family.
