Lord Cornet shows a strong jumping pedigree combined with plenty of blood and willingness. He currently has limited competition experience up to 1.10m, but this is certainly not due to a lack of attitude. He is cooperative, careful and shows a big heart. Under saddle he works honestly and stays attentive over the fences. A horse for a rider looking for a sharp, willing sport horse with room to progress.
His pedigree strongly supports his sport qualities. Sire Cornet Obolensky (Clinton x Heartbreaker) competed himself at 1.60m Grand Prix level and is one of the world’s leading sires. He produced top-level performers such as Balou du Reventon, Clooney 51 and Coree, all competing at 1.60m level, as well as numerous approved stallions.
The dam Enola (by Corland) comes from a very strong performance family. She is a daughter of Corland, himself a 1.60m Grand Prix stallion, well known for passing on rideability and mentality.
From this direct damline come several international sport horses, including:
The granddam Minola (by Quick Star) is a keur, pref and performance mare and forms the foundation of an exceptionally broad sport family. Further down the damline we find multiple horses competing at 1.50m level, including All Star 7, as well as a large number of international performers at 1.40m–1.45m level in both showjumping and dressage. Several approved stallions also originate from this family, confirming its quality and consistency.
Lord Cornet combines an honest attitude and carefulness with an outstanding proven pedigree. A horse with strong potential for further sporting development.
