From a pedigree point of view, Irish Tango is strongly and proven bred. His sire Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve competed himself at 1.60m Grand Prix level and is one of the world’s leading sires, producing numerous international top-level showjumpers. Tangelo is renowned for passing on scope, sharpness and mentality.
The dam Rosie Bee competed at 1.40m level and is by Lux Z, himself a 1.60m Grand Prix stallion, famous for producing rideable, reliable sport horses with a great attitude.
From this direct damline comes DHF Alliance (by Douglas), who is currently competing at 1.60m level, with victories at CSIO5* Dublin and placings at CSI3* 1.60m competitions.
