The four-year-old Halycyon Heart W strongly reminds one of his sire Heartbreaker and is bred out of a 1.60m Grand Prix mare. He has a lot of blood and quality and already jumps a higher fence with ease. At the video day, he had been saddle-broken for a month.
Heartbreaker was ahead of his time and jumped the highest courses with unprecedented reflexes and carefulness under Peter Geerink. He produced about 130 Grand Prix horses at 1.60m level and higher, including 34 approved stallions such as Quasimodo van de Molendreef, Action-Breaker, Toulon, Topinambour, Hardrock Z, Echo van ’t Spieveld and Halifax van het Kluizebos.
Dam Pernot (Burggraaf) jumped 1.60m Grand Prix with Lindsay Douglass (USA) and Romalia Calderon (USA). Granddam Amarie (Le Mexico) earned the predicates keur, preferent and prestatie and is also the dam of Thunder (1.50m level), Unpredictable (1.45m levle), and three 1.30/1.35m level showjumping horses.
