The 3-yr-old Jackpot has a great balance for a horse of his size and managed to really convince us in loose jumping. He is very careful and has scope. This one can jump anything, we believe, and he has a good character. A super co-operative sport horse for the future.
Sire Jardonnay VDL is a magnificent son of Kannan x Indoctro, who jumped his first international 1.35m level courses under Jur Vrieling as a 7-yr-old.
Dam Dakota is a Westphalian mare by the interestingly bred Diathago (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago x Stakkato). Diathago made his debut at 1.55m level under Marcus Ehning as a 10-yr-old and immediately won this 5* class in Oslo.
Grandam Chaina is a Holsteiner mare by Candillo. Great-grandam Elyssa (Ligorett) is a half-sister of state premium – awarded mare Hawai II, dam of Legolas (1.60m GP) and grandam of the top-class showjumping stallion Quel Homme de Hus (winner of team-gold at the European Championship in 2018 and individual silver at the 2022 WEG under Jérôme Guery in Herning).
