In Will’s breeding program as well, we see a lot of Grand Prix blood in the selected stallions. Sire McLaren is on his way to the Grand Prix with Dinja van Liere. Just as in competition, the stallion is also on track to reach the highest level in breeding. On the dam’s side, we find the Elite mare Gucci VDP, registered with 90 points for movement and 85 for conformation, and who competes at the Z2 dressage level herself. Last year, Will’s half-brother, Redbull VDP, placed 5th in the PAVO Cup final. Gucci VDP is also the dam of the Elite mare Macarena LT and two ZZ-Z offspring. The second dam, Voliza, is by the Grand Prix stallion Welt Hit II and is the dam of Ferrari S LT and a ZZ-L offspring. The third dam, Romy, is by the Grand Prix stallion Montecristo and is the dam of two ZZ offspring. So, there’s plenty of dressage genetics here.
