Dressage horses are not common in our collection, but from time to time we are happy to assist a breeder with the sale of an interesting prospect. Uncle William M is such an example. This dark bay two-year-old colt made a very positive impression on us. He appears light-footed, moves easily and does everything with great ease. He shows good presence and front, combined with supple and balanced movement. In his way of going, he clearly uses his body well and shows natural talent. A very interesting young prospect for the dressage enthusiast.
Sire Willem Normandi is by For Romance I and represents a modern dressage type. For Romance I himself achieved Grand Prix results in international dressage competitions in the USA and the UK. This sire line is known for passing on suppleness, rideability and presence, qualities clearly visible in Uncle William M.
The damline is exceptionally strong in dressage. Dam Ge Noortje.W is by Johnson, a proven Grand Prix dressage stallion and leading sire at the highest level. Granddam Noortje (by Hofnar) competed at L3 level in the USA and Advanced Medium level in the UK. Further down the damline we find multiple internationally successful dressage horses, including Evaniel’s Blackie W, who competed at Grand Prix level, as well as several horses successful at PSG and Inter I level. This family is known for its rideability, mentality and consistent performance in dressage sport.
Uncle William M is a light-footed, correctly built two-year-old colt with an easy way of moving and a strong dressage pedigree. A very interesting prospect for the dressage lover looking toward the future.
