Proven sire Baltic VDL has established his value in breeding as the father of top earners such as Leone Jei, Faltic HB, and Ilex. This damline too has already produced several high-level performers. Volvo’s dam Baloufina foaled the international 1.45m-level horse Chacco du Rouet and is also recorded as the granddam of Chio Z, the ten-year-old 1.50m horse of Mans Thijssen. Moreover, Baloufina herself is a half-sister to the international 1.50/1.60m-level horses Baby Arko and Ride Smart Chevalier de Blue, as well as the 1.40m stallion Stakkatol, confirming her strong genetic background. Granddam Caroll competed up to 1.40m level, also produced the 1.45m-level performers Dicaprio and Con Capitano and can be found in the second generation behind the 1.50m horse Baloukira. In the second generation, Volvo carries the performance genes of Baloubet du Rouet, Olympic champion and multiple World Cup winner, who produced a wealth of top-level showjumpers including Dubai du Cedre, Bubalu VDL, Vestmalle des Cotis, G&C Arrayan, and Bonne Chance CW.
