Corneel van ‘t Oost

Under Bassem Mohammed, the Thunder van de Zuuthoeve offspring Gunder achieved placings in several 5* Grand Prix, and he took part in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro under the saddle of Ali Yousuf A S Al Rumaihi. This Corneel van ’t Oost is his promising younger brother. Besides producing the Grand Prix winner Gunder, their dam Cronella van de Pereboom also foaled the internationally 1.60m-level jumping horse Nauwsika van de Pereboom (s.Thunder van de Zuuthoeve), who first competed successfully with Niels Bruynseels and is now performing with Janika Sprunger. The granddam Piroschka vd Pereboom is a full sister to the international 1.45m-level showjumper Othello van de Pereboom, who competed at the European Young Riders Championships in 2006 under Benedetta Ganassini. Adding further performance genes to this Belgian damline is the highly successful stallion Comthago VDL, with whom Hessel Hoekstra claimed, among other victories, the Grand Prix of CSI3* Ommen. His oldest offspring have now stepped up at 1.40m level at the age of just seven.
