This summer, the nine-year-old sire Stargos VDL successfully stepped up to international 1.50m level under Hessel Hoekstra, following an exceptionally successful period in the young horse classes. He has already achieved several placings at this level, while the oldest offspring of this two-time winner of the stallion competition are also showing great talent, technique and attitude. Dam Sanieta BFT achieved a good score of 80.5 points in her EPTM test and is a half-sister to three horses placed at international 1.40m level: Nanieta P (s.Harley VDL), Marja P (s.Grand Slam VDL) and Janieta P. (s.Kannan). This line continues with a half-sister to the Grand Prix stallion Zapatero VDL (s.Chin Chin), who was successful with Jessica Kürten. In the third generation, international sport mare Manieta, who competed under the name Brugman’s Princess, adds her performance genes to the pedigree. She is also the granddam of Jenny Rankin’s 1.60m-level Ibiza (s.Inshallah de Muze).
