VDL Nominaal has already made his debut at the International Young horse level. VDL Nominaal is a son of Twister de la Pomme who is a combination of two true legends of showjumping – Darco (Ludo Phillpaerts) and For Pleasure (Marcus Ehning). Nominaal VDL is such a solid, easy and comfortable jumper. With his looks and beautiful model, he is your ideal partner for the future. Sire: The genetically valuable sire Twister de la Pomme competed at the highest level with Wesley Mulder and Meike Zwartjens. He is a grandson of the legendary mare Fragance de Chalus. Twister de la Pomme is already making his mark in breeding. Despite having a relatively small number of offspring, his oldest progeny such as T Gavoli Z, Tanja, and Jimmy, are already following in his footsteps at 1.50m-level. Dam: Dam Hezwiggy JG is a half-sister to several 1.30/1.35m-level showjumpers, including the internationally performing Mijzelf JG, who competed in his first 1.35m classes last year as a seven-year-old. Damline: VDL Nominaal hails from the esteemed Twiggy line, which has produced numerous outstanding performers.
