The past year, Uschi jumped the final of the Belgian Championship for five-year-old horses, just as many other horses from her family have done before. Uschi Van ‘t Meulenhof is a granddaughter of the top mare Lesmeralda Van ‘t Meulenhof, who jumped up to 1.60m with Koen Vereecke. Lesmeralda is herself also the dam of Q7 Van ‘t Ruytershof, currently jumping at 1.60m level with Pedro Junqueira-Muylaert. The third dam is the top mare Illusionata, who finished third in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London and the World Cup of Bordeaux with Niels Bruynseels. Illusionata is also a sister of Diamantina and the top stallion Emerald. Uschi is a real sport horse. She is super-smart in the ring, lets herself be ridden very easily, and is brimming with scope. For us, this is a horse with absolute Grand Prix potential.
