The dam Skorphults Miss Fly is out of a highly accomplished damline that consistently has produced top-tier sport horses over several generations.
The granddam, Chance for Ever, had a brief career but made a significant impact in breeding. Through embryo transfer, she has produced numerous offspring, with the majority showcasing their talent in competition. Four of her offspring have excelled in S-level classes, with Diamants Aurora (by Diarado) achieving placements in 160, and Chaccala (by Diarado) and Conmina Blue PS (by Contendros) competing in 150-level shows. Diamino Blue (by Diarado) has showed his skills in 145 show jumping. Other notable offspring include Stay Secret (by Sir Shutterfly), Silvana for Ever (by Sir Shutterfly), Dolly Blue (by Diarado), Despo Noir (by Diarado), and Chery Blue (by Memphis), all of whom have competed in 140 showjumping. Moreover, two more offspring compete at the 130 level. Vanity Fair (by Diarado) stands out in the lineup, competing in international three-star eventing.
Emerald van’t Ruytershof is indeed well-known, having achieved success in the highest levels of show jumping under rider Harrie Smolders, representing the Netherlands at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games. His exceptional lineage includes his father, Diamant de Semilly, and grandfather, Carthago, who competed in international 1.60m showjumping. Emerald van’t Ruytershof holds the prestigious “Ambassadeur” stallion title in Belgium.
The dam, Carthina Z, competed at the 1.45m level in show jumping and, in addition to Emerald van’t Ruytershof, has produced three more offspring that compete at the 1.60m level, including the approved stallion Nixon van’t Muelenhof.
Emerald van’t Ruytershof ranks 12th on the WBFSH’s list of the world’s best showjumping stallions, with an impressive 35 offspring performing at the 1.60m level and over 70 approved sons across various breeding associations.
