The dam Starlight Gold has had a highly successful competition career. As a young horse, she participated in young horse championships with excellent results. At seven years old, Starlight Gold achieved victories and placements in 140 classes, being considered one of the top-ranked horses in her age group in Sweden. She has since continued to compete, securing numerous wins and placements in 145 show jumping. Starlight Gold is a *** performance mare and boasts a jumping index of 146.
The granddam, Helamee, is included in the main studbook of Oldenburg. The great granddam, La Romee, produced Cinzano Classico (by Cyrano), achieving placements in 135 show jumping.
Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve is an exceptionally reliable sire of jumpers and currently holds the 36th position on WBFSH’s sire ranking for showjumping. His offspring have excelled at the highest levels of the sport, with notable examples like Tobago Z, Darry Lou, Hermelien vd Hooghoeve, Etalon, Calypso van de Zuuthoeve, and Venus, among many others performing at the 1.60m level. Tangelo had a successful career in showjumping at the highest level before embarking on a fruitful breeding career, carrying valuable jumping bloodlines from his sire, the renowned French stallion Narcos II.
Furthermore, Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve inherits sought-after bloodlines through the illustrious thoroughbred stallion Laudanum xx, a legend both in the sport and international showjumping horse breeding.
