Sunnycinthe is a colt by Zirocco Blue VDL and Zavall VDL. The dam of this colt has always been a broodmare. As she is the sister of 2 very successful horses it was crucial to have her reproduce those special genes. She is a sister of VDL Byacinthe who competed first with Robbert Ehrens and later with Danielle Urban in the United States. The dam is also the sister of the Galax VDL who competed at 1.50m with Michal Zak and now with Henrich Mock. The founding dam is the 3rd, Byazinthe by Nimmerdor. She gave a long list of daughters who didn’t go into the sport but all bred and their offspring is well worth the time. One gave Amalia who was originally named Hyacinthe. She is a 1.50m winner with Daniel Coyle. Sisters of Amalia gave High Point of Stefanie Caroll and Stardust of Richard Vogel. Another sister is the grand dam of Hessel Hoekstra’s Icoon VDL who has jumped clear in his last 5* Grand Prix, including Falsterbo and Rotterdam! This is the line of the great sport stallion Arc de Triomphe of Daniel Littlewood and of the omnipresent stallion Ahorn.
