Querpionne de Muze Her qualities have their origin in an exceptionally strong and proven dam line. Her dam Perfect Edition became champion at the Belgian Championship at the age of four. The granddam Morfine jumped at 1.40m level herself and is a direct daughter of the legendary Jeleena de Muze (by Torpedo FCS), silver medalist at the World Championships for 7-year-olds in Lanaken and successful at 1.60m level. Jeleena de Muze descends from the iconic broodmare VDL Groep Eureka (by Chin Chin), Dutch champion in 2014 and very successful internationally under the saddle of Maikel van der Vleuten. Eureka is also the dam of, among others, the 1.65m jumping Malibu de Muze, ridden by Sergio Álvarez Moya. The dam line goes back to the renowned line of Eureka van ‘t Roosakker, known as the basis of numerous international top horses, including Mumbai and Opium JW van de Moerhoeve. We also see sport at the highest level in the direct relationship: a half-brother of Perfect Edition, Qnokke de Muze, achieved podium places at the Belgian Championship for 7-year-olds and is now successfully active at 1.60m level as a 9-year-old. This exceptional line also produced an impressive series of Grand Prix horses, such as Fa-Belle van ‘t Roosakker, Ta Belle van Sombeke, Beauty-Belle van ‘t Roosakker, and absolute world toppers such as Glock’s London, Golden Hawk and Casimir de la Pomme. This year, no fewer than three half-brothers and half-sisters of Queripionne de Muze competed at the Belgian Championships, all reaching the final.
