The striking stallion McLaren OLD combines charm, suppleness and work ethic in an unparalleled way. This dark brown son of Morricone I from a proven Sir Donnerhall I dam line is not only genetically very strong, but also proves himself in sport.
With top results in the stallion competition, a final place in the Pavo Cup and now successful performances in the Light Tour under Dinja van Liere, McLaren shows his quality and attitude time and again. His trot and harmony were even rewarded with tens.
He also makes an impression in breeding: his first foals stand out because of their breed, appearance and striking movements. With his blood distribution and friendly character, McLaren is a valuable addition for both sport and breeding breeders.
Katy Lonka is a daughter of the preferent stallion Negro, also known as the sire of two-time individual Olympic champion Valegro (Charlotte Dujardin). Katy Lonka’s dam is the proven sport and breeding mare Zveva Lonka. This elite mare by Goodtimes competed at ZZ-Licht level and produced, among others, the Grand Prix horse Caron RT and the Inter II elite mare Jillz Lonka. Granddam Nilonka also competed successfully at ZZ-Licht level and proved to be an exceptionally valuable breeding mare. The star, prok, sport and performance mare provides the sought-after thoroughbred contribution via Colway Bold xx and produced four dressage horses that are successful in sports and two AES-approved stallions. From this originally versatile Holstein line we also know striking show jumpers, including the KWPN-approved Sibon W and Chela LS, in 2018 participant in the WEG in Tryon with Ashlee Bond.
Elite Sport mare Katy Lonka already showed her potential at the age of three by scoring 85 points for her trot and canter and 80 for exterior during the studbook inspection. During the Central Inspection this earned her the provisional keur predicate and in October 2019 she passed her IBOP test which made her Elite. Already at the age of 6, Katy was successfully brought out in the Z2 dressage class and she became 4th at the NK in Ermelo. At the age of just 7, she successfully competed in the Prix st George after which they started using for breeding.
