Stallone B is colt by Harley VDL and SIEC Royal Star, by Quick Star, and competed under Cameron Hanley. Royal Star produced just 4 foals, including the 1.60m Grand Prix placed Bupina of Filippo Bassan and the dam of this colt. That dam is Berona who was successful at 1.45m level with Renate Beuving. Berona has a lot of the attributes of her grandsire Quick Star. Her blood, her type and her style of jumping can all be traced back to that super stallion of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. Berona is a sister of the 1.50m placed Dolphin of Bruno Jazede who has been competing with Dolphin for the last 8(!) years! The grand dam of this colt is a sister of the 1.45m placed Cerona of Kirsten Rombouts and Cerona gave Gilles Thomas’ Grand Prix horse Feromas van Beek. Another sister of the grand dam gave Pieter Clemens’ Crescendo MB Z who was outstanding in the Longines Global Champions Tour stage in Madrid.
