Smirnoff Ice, born 23/02/2022 is an impressive colt by the World Champion Cumano, who in his heyday not only won the title but also won the Calgary Grand Prix and finished 3rd in the Aachen Grand Prix. As a sire he produced Steve Guerdat’s Nasa, Athina Onassis’ Camille Z and the sensation of the London Olympics, Noblesse des Tess with Kamal Bahamdan.
The dam is Mioko SCF by For Pleasure. She is the full sister of Eric Lamaze’s Olympic mare Derly Chin de Muze, who is the daughter of Werly Chin de Muze and the dam of Daniel Deusser’s Aachen Grand Prix winner Killer Queen. Mioko is also the sister of Joe Clee’s Diablesse de Muze, and Shane Sweetnam’s Everlychin de la Pomme and Kirschwasser. Mioko is indeed a granddaughter of Querly Chin. Mioko SCF’s first offspring is now 6 and started competing in international young horse classes under David O’Brien. Size, body, canter and is a flat out 1.60m family right up to Aachen GP winners and Olympic horses combined with a sire as World Champion and Rolex Grand Prix winner.
