Under Paul Estermann, the top-level showjumper Lord Pepsi achieved highly commendable results. They competed at the European Championships in Rotterdam, the World Cup Final in Paris, and won the Grand Prix of CSI3* Vermezzo. Chesney comes out of the same dam, who in turn is a half-sister to the 1.40m-level horse Cannoso. Sire Checkter was performing at international 1.50m-level and is the younger half-brother of, among others, the successful Grand Prix stallion Check In, with whom Samantha McIntosh competed at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon. Like his well-known half-brother, Checkter has also made a promising start in breeding, and his oldest offspring are at the beginning of their international sport careers.
