In January Canto Bruno was third with Eve Jobs in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Doha. Last year he was seventh in the Rolex Grand Prix of Windsor. He is a grandson of Cassandra and thus a cousin of this filly.

Cassandra is the engine of this line. Six of her eleven offspring reached 1.30m or higher. Best is Quite Nice 5 (1.55m), second in the CSI4* of Balvanera with Gonzalo Azcarraga. She won individual gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz and earlier her class with Arne van Heel at the Young Horse World Championships in Lanaken.

Third dam Caroline produced the premium-awarded stallion Le Carolus and Larenza van de Dwerse Hagen, both at 1.50m. Dam Baloutina, a daughter of Balou du Rouet out of Cassandra, is young. Juliette Z is her third foal. Sire J-Nius V.V. Z, approved with AES and Zangersheide, is a coloured son of Little Indian out of an Ugano Sitte daughter. What this family can do, Canto Bruno shows now in the five-star arenas.
