Car de Blue did it in two stages: first in sport, at 1.40m level and entered in the Hauptstutbuch, then in breeding. Her oldest daughter Messara Blue PS reached 1.50m with Ruben Arroyave, and Miss Me PS follows at 1.35m. The tone had already been set by her own dam Pas de Blue (s.Chacco-Blue), six of whose seven offspring perform: Carte de Blue PS Marathon at 1.70m, the stallion Laguilot Z at 1.50m, Elacca Star PS at 1.45m and Centacco at 1.35m.

Sire Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof is Harrie Smolders’ horse, with whom he finished third at 1.60m in the Barcelona Nations Cup Final in 2018. This son of Diamant de Semilly out of the 1.45m mare Carthina Z is a BWP Ambassador, WFFS-free and approved by ten studbooks. Carthago appears twice in this pedigree: through Carthina Z on the sire’s side and through Cartogran on the dam’s.
