This promising Discovery Z is sired by the striking Defender VDS Z, who is now competed by Johnny Pals, and traces back on the dam’s side to the renowned Holsteiner lineage 456. Granddam Shakira IX has already produced the national showjumping horse Lucio (s.Legolas), who competed up to 1.50m level in the United States. Shakira IX herself is a half-sister to the international 1.60m horse Quinto (s.Quintero), who participated in the European Championships in Aachen with Radovan Sillo, as well as the top-level performer Loving Dancer (s.La Zarras) ridden by Tani Zeidler. This direct branch of the damline also includes the international 1.50m level jumping horse Vienna Quintera (s.Quintero).
