Deze zoon van de onder Jur Vrieling zeer verdienstelijk presterende Grand Prix-hengst Glasgow van ’t Merelsnest komt uit een goede sportstam. Zijn moeder Jeltje is een (half)zus van zes internationale springpaarden. Zo komt ze uit dezelfde moeder als het 1.50m-paard Cinella (v.Celano) van Armando Trapote en de 1.45m-geklasseerde Big Brother (v.Celano) en Glostro (v.Indoctro), die daarmee zelfs een volle broer is. Een andere volle broer van Jeltje is de internationaal 1.35/1.40m-geklasseerde Kassidy O, die door Asli Akozbek in de Youngster Tour wordt uitgebracht. Het meest bekend staat deze moederlijn om het uiterst succesvolle topspringpaard Creedance (v.Lord Z) van Kent Farrington. Deze meervoudig Grand Prix-winnaar is een halfbroer van grootmoeder Joyce Fortuna.
