Sire Matisse de Mariposa, who jumped at 1.45m level, is genetically very interesting. He was bred out of the half-sister to the top-class horses Flora de Mariposa and Hermes de Mariposa and he is closely related to many more 1.60m GP horses.
Dam Kabiana descends from the 1.60m Grand Prix stallion Glasgow-W van het Merelsnest, who was very successful under Jur Vrieling. She is a full sister of the international 1.55m GP horse Iwan ridden by Tom Martens (NED). Grandam Vabiana (Jackson) is an elite-awarded mare at 1.35m level.
Worth mentioning is that great-grandam Fabiana (Wolfgang) is an aunt of the famous 1.60m Grand Prix horses Authentic van Beezie Madden (bronze in the Hong Kong Olympics) and Merlinda.
