Oterna is a youthful mare. She jumps with a lovely technique and seems to be very careful. Her fancy model she probably has from her father Herakles. This son by Catoki was produced by Kimberley Martens-Winsingh up to 1.40m level before he moved to Germany. He has a wonderful model and is a modern horse who jumps with perfect reflexes and form. The mother of Oterna is the Indorado x Iroko mare Esterna. Out of this wide damline we see jumpers as Sterrehof’s Pherna (by Calvados) who jumped 1.60m with Julia Houtzager-Kayser. In turn she is the mother of the KWPN approved stallion and 1.60m jumping horse Utopie (by Jacomar) and also Highway S (by Clearway) who jumps 1.50m classes. Corna Z (by Caretano) who competed at 1.50m level comes out of this line as well and she gave the 1.50m horse Carmela Z (by Candillo). Other stars out of this family are the 1.60m horses Fantastico B (by Flamenco de Semilly) and Jorthos (by Orthos), the 1.55m horse Ultimate (by Kojak), 1.50m jumper Epherno (by Vingino) and also 4* eventing horse Fonbherna Lancer (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve).
