Comthago VDL was the talk of the town during the 2024 Dutch Championships. Finishing in 2nd place with Dutch rider Hessel Hoekstra, he stepped up to 1.60m level for the first time and how!! Mom Ginger Z is a daughter of Goldfever I, the great Grand Prix Stallion of Ludger Beerbaum. Ginger’s grandam is Quanina van ‘t Heike, the mother of the legendary multiple stallion mother and Grand Prix mare Valentina van ‘t Heike, and the 1.60m grand prix horses Mozart van ‘t Heike and Dancer van ‘t Heike.
Ginger Z is a sister to the 1.50m Grand Prix horse Just Luck ridden by Fabrice Galdini. Her mom Catacombe van ‘t Heike (Grandeur) is the full sister to the Grand Prix mare Apiola van ‘t Heike and a half sister to Grand Prix mare Valentina van ‘t Heike.
