La Costa is an exceptional 1m65 Grand Prix mare who represented Spain at both the FEI European Championships and FEI World Championships under Ismael García Roque. Together they claimed the 2021 Spanish National Championship, while also recording top placings in CSI5* Grand Prix, World Cup competitions and Nations Cups. Her first offspring, Prada Di Costa M, has already reached CSI5 1m55 level with Kevin Jochems and is herself the dam of the approved Zangersheide stallion Versace Di Costa M and several promising young horses.
Her dam, Costa de Baugy Z, also competed in sport and produced just one foal: La Costa herself, while the family continues with international performers such as David Arcand’s 1m60 Grand Prix horse Reiki du Vent, the 1m50 performer Skara Glen’s 7 Pillars, and the 1m45 performers Apart, Higuain, Next Heartbreaker, Djengo and Guadelupe.
