I’m sure you’ve been following the World Championships for young show jumpers. And there, on Sunday, Elotte was leading the field in the seven-year-olds’ class. Elotte was bred via Eldorado van de Zeshoek out of the 1m45 Grand Prix mare Blackberry, who is the aunt of this auction lot. She is not the only international performer from this top line, as the dam is also a sister to the 1m50-classified Elton John, Alan 111 and Eros AS. Meanwhile, the granddam is a sister to the Grand Prix stallions Oklund and Plot Blue. This auction lot stands out not only for his power and ability, but particularly for his typical Emerald style of jumping. A positive sign for this diamond in the rough, who possesses top-class genes.
