For instance, the granddam, Lightningthina v/h Ruytershof, jumped at 1m40. She is, amongst others, the full sister of the World Cup winner Messi van’t Ruytershof and the Grand Prix show jumpers H&M Luna van’t Ruytershof, Missouri van’t Ruytershof, Olina van’t Ruytershof and Riverflow. This top bloodline can be traced back to Diamanthina van’t Ruytershof, who, with Constant van Paesschen, won Grand Prix events up to 160 level and is also the full sister of the Olympic stallion Emerald.
