A fantastic hind end , sharpness and a lot of scope, that is what charaterizes this gelding by Escape Z. Beside that it’s a long legged modern model with lots of expression.
Escape Z is one of the new discoveries in the big sport with rider and co-owner Harrie Smolders. His father Emerald van het Ruytershof was also succesful with Harrie Smolders and it seems Escape Z is heading the same direction! Just recently he already won the 1.45m class at the 5* Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
The mother of Expresso is the Oramé mare Woradiella who seems to produce really well. She is the mother of Hello Kitty de Levee (v.Emerald van het Ruytershof) who already jumps at 1.50m level under Victoria Almgren and also of Fediella (v.Baltic VDL) who’s succesful at 1.45m level. Furthermore in this damline we see Gangster Z (v.Glasgow van ‘t Merelsnest) ridden by Ncholai Lindbjerg at 1.45m level. Also Isaac (v.Numero Uno) goes at 1.45m level with the talented young rider Iris Michels.
Note: Expresso VD Z is a cribber in the stable, although that does not affect his qualities as a sporthorse, we do want to mention it clearly.
