Zo werd hij al Drents Kampioen in de klasse L2 en mocht ook al de 2e prijs in ontvangst nemen tijdens de voorselectie voor de Pavo Cup en de Subli Cup in Exloo. Hier werd hij geroemd om zijn ruime en tact zuivere stap. Zijn draf noemde de jury van nature goed met de schoft naar boven, wat hij ook in de galop vertoont. Keer op keer toont Preston SB dus weer zijn talent onder het zadel. Preston SB heeft een pedigree om van te watertanden. Met Bordeaux als vader belooft het veel goeds. Bordeaux gaf al minstens 30 Grand Prix-paarden met als uitschieters de Olympiade paarden Bluetooth OLD, Bohemian en Fame.
