Vigo Vamos

The six year old Vigo Vamos (Vapua) is a quintessential offspring of Vigo d´Arsouilles , possessing an excellent temperament and rideability combined with big scope. This gelding has competed up to 1.20m, but has yet far from showcased his true potential, which becomes more apparent as the fences get higher. He has a striking ground-covering canter, a powerful yet natural jump, unlimited scope and is very careful. His ´good brain´ is a major asset, which combined with his jumping attributes make him a serious Grand Prix prospect for ambitious riders, be they professionals or ambitious amateurs. For the former, he would be a interesting horse to initially develop on the Youngster Tour.

He is ready to step up to higher-level competitions during the coming season. During the selection days, he impressed the auction team with the ease and simplicity which he jumped bigger courses, regardless of his relatively low competition mileage.

His sire is the legendary Belgian Warmblood, Vigo d´Arsouilles – the 2010 individual World Champion with Phillipe Le Jeune. He has consistently ranked highly among the world’s top sires (WBFSH). His immense power, excellent canter and exceptional jumping ability are naturally seen in his progeny. Amongst his most notable offspring to reach the highest international level of showjumping : 1.60m are Vagabond de La Pomme, Fair Light van´t Heike, Golden Hawk (formerly Figo de Muze) and Irenice Horta. Cassini II, the dam sire, represents one of the most successful show jumping bloodlines : hundreds of his offspring have reached the highest level of performance – Grand Prix – typically distinguishing themselves through immense jumping potential, an excellent temperament and being a modern type.
