Ermitage Kalone has undoubtedly established himself as THE headline act in the show jumping scene. This outstanding athlete and crowd favourite won the gold medal at the Belgian Championships in 2023 under the saddle of Gilles Thomas and placed round after round in international show jumping competitions at top level. After numerous placings in Grand Prix competitions such as in Vejer de la Frontera (1.50m, 6th place), Moerzeke (1.55m, 2nd place) and Maastricht (1.55m, 6th place), he recently jumped a double clear round in Mechelen to finish 5th in the World Cup Grand Prix over 1.55m. She is, for example, the dam of Vertige Kalone (Berlin), who jumps 1.45m, and also of Prestige Kalone (Potter du Manaou), who jumps 1.60m under Phillippe Rozier. Jasione aa, his 3rd dam, is also the dam of the stallion Quercus du Maury and granddam of the well-known Anglo-Arbe stallion Fusain du Defey. This Anglo line is a very well-known and sought-after line for its sport horses as well as the licensed stallions that have already come from it. Her family is a true one of a kind, from the father side and also from the mother side. Her father is Norton d’Eole (1.60level) who’s sire is Cento (1.60level) and the dam is Fragance de Chalus (1.40level). Norton d’Eole is also the father of Chagall de Toscane (1.60 level) studstallion, Dunlop d’Enocq (1.50 level) and Made in’t Ruytershof (1.60 level). The mother of Lightningthina is Inathina van’t Ruytershof (1.40 level) who also competed herself and she gave offsprings like H&M Luna van’t Ruytershof (1.60 level), Missouri van’t Ruytershof (1.60 level), Night Light van’t Ruytershof (1.50 level) and a lot of other succesful horses. But The sire and dam of Inathina were both superstars in showjumping! The sire is For Pleasure (1.60 level) the famous Hannoverian stallion! And the dam is Diamanthina van’t Ruytershof (1.60 level) who is the full sister to Emerald van’t Ruytershof. And her parents are also big level showjumpers, Diamant de Semilly (1.60 level) and Carthina Z (1.40 level). Lightningthina van’t Ruytershof has a legendary pedigree and she proofs it with herself too in showjumping. Lightninghtina has already produced two international offspring: OXBOW DE MUZE | HorseTelex 1.45m by Fantomas de Muze and QUINTERO VAN’T VERAHOF | HorseTelex 1.40m and an approved son by Nabab de Reve PETACCHI VAN ‘T VERAHOF | HorseTelex. Her offsprings will have this special super bloodline, they will be future stars for sure!
