His sire, For Pleasure, is the famous race leader, double Olympic gold medalist and multiple winner on the most beautiful international tracks (77 victories in GP CSI, CSI-W) under the saddle of Lars Nieberg and Marcus Ehning. For Pleasure is also ranked 2nd Best sire of winners in show jumping at world level in 2016 (WBFSH ranking). He still ranks among the best stallions in the world and is one of the most sought-after sires. He has notably produced : Flora de Mariposa (ISO175 CSIO5* – Team Olympic Champion in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and Vice World Team Champion at the World Games in 2014), For Joy van ‘t Zorgvliet (ISO172), Epleaser van ‘t Heike (1st CSI5* of Villach 2016), For Felicila (CSI5*- CSIO) among others.
His dam, Tina du Godion, ISO 141, was regularly classified in CSI2* 1.45m before being exported to the United States. Her only product, Golden Baby’s Dream ISO 117, qualified for the SHF CSO Classic Cycle Final at 5 years old in 2021, and qualified for the Free Cycle Final after two clear-round at the regional final, three clear-round in Fontainebleau, and she finished 3rd of the championship.
French Touch’s Dream comes from an excellent line of good show jumping winners including Olga du Godion, ISO 148, Rapsodie du Godion, ISO 139 and dam of Diamond’s Dream (stallion, ISO 146), Urfe du Godion, ISO 133, Sioux du Godion, stallion ISO 131, etc.
