Appealing, light-footed and blessed with good jumping manners 4. Papillon (Kempinski x Ustinov) This well-bred five-year-old mare is an all-round great talent for the future. She stands out with her light-footedness and exceptional jumping quality. Although her sire Kempinski was only available for breeding for a short time, he produced multiple promising future talents, including this five-year-old mare. Kempinski himself (by Darco) continues his jumping career in America. In the second generation of Papillon’s pedigree, the international sport and breeding stallion Ustinov adds his genes. He produced successful show jumpers such as Dustin, Penelope Cruz, MTM Vivre le Reve and Jagger HX. Papillon’s dam Fairline showed her natural jumping ability and remarkable riding qualities in the mare performance test and in the sport as well. She is a half-sister to Rein Pill’s internationally 1.40m-ranked Jambville (by Arezzo VDL). In the fourth generation, this Dutch dam line goes back to foundation mare Carusa, who can also be found behind 1.50/1.60m jumpers such as Loruso H, Wittinger VDL, Cat Ninja, Chandelier, Saruso H and Davarusa.
