The two-year-old Calpe d’Amas Z is an eye-catcher not only because of his striking markings, but also because he’s a large-framed, light-footed showjumper with a lot of scope. Sire Count On Me Z (1.35m level) is a ten-year-old son of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Cha Cha Z, ridden by Judy Ann-Melchior. Dam Tundra d’Amas Z (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) is seven years old and competes at international 1.35m level with Louis Pues from Belgium. Granddam Al Capone Z (Andiamo x Quick Star) also gave the 1.40m level showjumping horse Electra d’Amas Z and is an aunt of Connecticut (1.60m Grand Prix) and five other horses at 1.40–1.45m level. This damline also gave the approved stallions Chilinsky (1.65m Grand Prix) and Eurostar I (1.65m Grand prix), the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Beleno, Lawitano, Baretino PS, Diachron, Edesa’s Vidal 8, Chacceldi, Winbishi Caloudina, Chinoubet PS and Corrwiko, and several 1.55m horses like Earl Grey Z, Chadonia PS, Diacco-Blue, Tailormade Casallorette PS, Quontendro PS and Cadete SDN. The list of 1.50m level horses from this line is also impressive, including the approved stallion Chacoon Blue.
