Volta VL’s pedigree combines the promising nine-year-old BWP-approved stallion Piece of Cake M with a Dutch dam line. Dam Monastrell Flandria is a half-sister to four international show jumpers, including the 1.55m-classified Oaky Flandria (by Cabrio van de Heffinck) ridden by Jonathan Corrigan and the 1.45m-classified Hors Class Flandria (by Contact van de Heffinck), and descends from the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Flamenco de Semilly. Granddam Chablis Flandria Horse brings in the valuable genes of world champion Cumano and is herself a half-sister to the international 1.45m winner Elton Flandria Horse. This direct branch also includes 1.40m horses such as Forever van ‘t Hofken and Lou van ‘t Hofken.
