The dam of this foal is a daughter of Cardento and has already produced several offspring. She descends from the well-known Dosinaa line of the KWPN – a dam line that is deeply rooted in top-level sport. In several branches of this line, we find show jumpers that competed at the 1.60m level. Urasinaa performed at the highest level, as did close relatives such as Amor van de Rostal and Tirasinaa.
The sire of this foal is the impressive stallion Extra (by Berlin), once successfully competed at 1.60m level by Olivier Philippaerts. This combination achieved numerous successes in international sport, after which Extra was sold to Chile. Now retired, he has returned to Belgium and is available for breeding through Zangersheide, one of the world’s leading studbooks. His return is no coincidence: not only his sporting career, but also his dam line is full of international jumping quality, making Extra very interesting for modern breeding.
With genes that stand out, this foal is an investment in a sporting future.
